What are Campaigns?
Campaigns let you organize and manage calls at scale. Whether you’re handling incoming calls for a promotion or making outbound calls to follow up with customers, campaigns give you full control over how, when, and who your AI agent calls.
Campaign Types
| Type | Direction | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Inbound Call | Incoming | Group and track incoming calls for a specific purpose (e.g., a marketing promotion or seasonal offer) |
| Outbound Call | Outgoing | Your AI agent calls a list of contacts automatically (e.g., appointment reminders, follow-ups, surveys) |
When to Use Campaigns
Inbound campaigns are useful when you want to:
- Track calls from a specific marketing channel
- Assign a dedicated phone number and agent to a promotion
- Monitor performance for a specific initiative
Outbound campaigns are useful when you want to:
- Remind customers about upcoming appointments
- Follow up after a service or consultation
- Run customer satisfaction surveys
- Reach out about promotions or new offerings
Campaign Lifecycle
Every campaign goes through these statuses:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Draft | Campaign is being set up. Not active yet |
| Running | Campaign is live — calls are being made or received |
| Paused | Campaign is temporarily stopped. Can be resumed |
| Completed | All contacts have been reached or the campaign end date has passed |
| Cancelled | Campaign was permanently stopped before completion |
Draft → Running → Paused → Running → Completed
→ CancelledWhat You’ll See
For each campaign, your dashboard shows:
- Total contacts — How many people are in the campaign
- Completed calls — How many contacts have been successfully reached
- Successful calls — Calls where the goal was achieved
- Failed calls — Calls that didn’t connect or didn’t achieve the goal
- Progress — A visual indicator of how far along the campaign is
