Your Data Is Protected

  • Access controls — Only authorized team members can access your data
  • Automatic cleanup — Expired data is automatically deleted based on your plan

Your Rights

As an Akol user, you have full control over your data:

Download Your Data

You can download all your data anytime:

  1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Account
  2. Click Export My Data
  3. You’ll receive a file with all your information

Delete Your Account

If you want to remove all your data:

  1. Go to Dashboard > Settings > Account
  2. Click Delete Account
  3. Confirm the deletion

After deletion, your data is kept for 30 days (in case you change your mind), then permanently removed.

Update Your Information

You can update your personal information anytime in Dashboard > Settings.

After the retention period, call recordings, transcripts, and related data are automatically deleted.

When recording is enabled, your AI agent can inform callers that the call is being recorded:

“This call may be recorded for quality purposes. How can I help you today?”

You can customize this in your agent’s greeting message.
