Pipedrive
Connect Pipedrive to automatically log calls, create contacts, and manage your sales pipeline from phone conversations.
What It Does
- Creates contacts — New callers are added to Pipedrive as Persons
- Logs calls — Every call is logged as an Activity with duration, outcome, and notes
- Creates deals — Optionally create deals from qualified calls
- Searches contacts — Looks up existing contacts by phone or email during calls
- Syncs both ways — Pull contact data from Pipedrive to enrich calls

Troubleshooting
Contacts Not Syncing
- Verify your API token is still valid in Pipedrive settings
- Check that the “Create contacts” setting is enabled
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting
Duplicate Contacts
- Akol searches by phone number first — duplicates may occur if the number format differs
- Ensure phone numbers in Pipedrive use consistent formatting
API Token Expired
- Generate a new API token in Pipedrive settings
- Update the token in Dashboard > Integrations > Pipedrive
Tips
- Use consistent phone formatting — E.164 format reduces duplicates
- Enable deal creation for sales — Automatically create pipeline deals from qualified calls
- Review call logs — Check your Pipedrive activities to see how calls are being logged
