What Notifications Look Like
Discord notifications use rich embeds with color-coding:
- Green — Successful calls and appointments
- Blue — Informational updates
- Yellow — Warnings and follow-up needed
- Red — Missed calls and errors
Troubleshooting
Not Receiving Notifications
- Verify the webhook URL is correct and the webhook hasn’t been deleted in Discord
- Check that the channel still exists
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting with a new webhook URL
Webhook Error Messages
- Make sure the URL is a valid Discord webhook URL (must be from discord.com)
- Discord webhooks have rate limits — notifications may be delayed during high volume
Notifications in Wrong Channel
- Each webhook is tied to a specific channel — create a new webhook in the correct channel
- Update the webhook URL in your Akol integration settings
Tips
- Create a dedicated channel — Use something like
#akol-callsto keep notifications organized - Set up multiple webhooks — Use different channels for different businesses
- Pin the daily summary — Pin the daily recap message for easy team reference
